September 2010 Menu Plan

Can you smell it? I can, it's so close! Fall! Football! Cooler weather!! I'm so excited that fall is approaching! I love September. Two of my loves celebrate their birthdays, football starts (Go VOLS and Titans!), and the weather starts to get a bit cooler. I've got a lot of new things to try on this menu, we'll see if I stick to it! There are some carry overs from last month that I didn't get around to. I'm also making a couple of things for a family reunion happening Labor Day weekend. I'm bringing, onion souffle, strawberry pie, and hashbrown casserole. Yum! What are you having this month, or week? I'm adding a linky at the bottom again if you want to link up, do so! If you only do a week at a time, still link up! We all want to see what's cooking in your kitchen! Happy fall!! (almost at least!)

Looks great Amber!
I do my menu plans for the week....I just don't know if I could make the leap to a month. Have you always done a month or did you start at a week or bi-weekly?

As always, looks delish! I've been thinking about making my own tortillas lately, is it really pretty easy?

Still working on my menu but teaching preschool this morning so it will hopefully be up later today.

Siggy, I think I started doing maybe 3 weeks or so at a time because I lived so far from Walmart. I don't anymore, but I just try to plan what we think we might want that month. I just try to buy all the ingredients and meats for dinner. I don't assign them to a specifit day, just have a "menu" to choose from. And since I do all my shopping for dinner once a month, so we have all we need for dinner!

Michele, the tortillas are SO easy!! you must try them. =)

Yummy! I'm more interested on preparing BBQ, corn bread and potato salad. That's because we've just bought gas barbecue accessories in a recent gas barbecues sale in our area. I'm hoping to receive superb gas barbecues reviews after I prepare a couple of barbecue recipes from cool food blogs like this one.

Thanks for sharing, Amber! You're such a very talented Mommy!
